Guarantee

Web Designs By Gene (WDBG) guarantees to treat your website as if it were our own. With a three (3) month warranty that includes minor changes to the website up to 4 hours per month, you can be assured that the site will surpass your expectations. All projects will be outlined in a detailed invoice prior to commencement. This is to avoid any miscommunications on content, function or billing.

All Websites Include:

• Professional images pertaining to your company industry on every page of the web site. (Note: Some images may require additional funds.)
• Submission of the web site to the top search engines to ensure search capabilities.
• Three (3) month warranty which includes minor changes to the web site up to 4 hours per month.
• Site will be expandable for viewing in different resolution sizes. Ex: 1024×768 or 1280x1024
• Custom rollover design for navigation.
• A copy of all files used to create the web site.
• Compatible with the following browsers: IE7, IE8 (compatibility mode), Firefox. (Additional browsers may require a fee.)

Content

Although we will help to provide content to your website, we rely heavily on your input. You are the expert in your industry and we will endeavor to portray your on-line image as such. Your cooperation and diligence is greatly appreciated.

Changes

Any and all changes to any agreement must be made in writing via e-mail. Any changes to an estimate/quote will be approved by the customer via e-mail before making changes. Web Designs By Gene (WDBG) reserves the right to request additional deposits to accommodate the requested changes. If changes to the original agreement are required and additional funds are needed, then the client will receive an updated/adjusted invoice reflecting such changes.

Payment

It is standard practice and policy to receive 50% of the initial estimate/quote as a non-refundable down payment of the total project with the balance due on completion. If the project grows in content, services or other, Web Designs By Gene (WDBG) may require additional funds prior to completion of your project. This is handled on a “case by case” basis. The initial down payment must be received prior to our commencing work on your site. The balance must be received prior to us releasing any files or publishing it to your domain. We currently accept PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, AMEX and Discover. NO CHECKS / MONEY ORDERS / E-CHECKS PLEASE.

Unreasonable Project Delay

If for some reason the project is delayed due to content not received from the client within a reasonable amount of time, there may be additional funds required to continue the project. Because we rely on you for the majority of the content (text, pictures and/or graphics) we must receive this content within a timely manner. If the project is delayed more than 2 weeks (project stand-still) then 50% of the estimated balance may become due.

Invoicing

Initial – Web Designs By Gene (WDBG) will send (via e-mail) an initial invoice outlining the details of your website indicating the amount of the non-refundable deposit (50% of estimate/quote) to begin work on your website.

Adjusted – If there are changes from the original estimate/quote that require additional funds, Web Designs By Gene (WDBG) will send (via e-mail) an adjusted invoice with the requested changes to continue work on the website.

Final – Once the website is completed, a final invoice will be sent (via e-mail) requesting the balance due. Once funds are received, the website will be published to your domain within 24-48 hours.
